Put the sauce pan on to boil. boil it for about 5-7 minutes. take it off and it should be a golden brown color. let it sit for 1-2 minutes. if its really runny put it back on the heat. once its been on for about 1 1/2 minutes let it sit again. Easy ways to remove dead skin!

When you have dead skin on your face or even on your hands or feet, it can catch on things. It can  tear, and if its really bad it can bleed.
There are many simple ways this can be cured.
If the problem area is your face:
Use a gentle exfoliator to exfoliate off the dead skin cells. Rinse it off with luke warm water, and pat dry with a towel. Do not rub it because this particular movement is harsh on the skin. Then apply a facial moisturizer, water based is the best.
If the problem area is on your hands or feet:
Purchase a pumice stone. This is a stone you can use to exfoliate dead skin off. It can be used multiple times. Once you have done that heat some olive oil so its warm but not too hot. Let your hands or feet soak in this for about 15 minutes. Pat this dry but do not wash it off. On top of this apply a heavy cream moisturizer. Take plastic wrap and wrap your hands/feet in this and leave it for as long as you want ( i like to do this overnight). Take it off and rinse with warm water! Now you will have moisturized nice skin :) Repeat as much as you want!

How to make your eyebrows arch more

Have you ever looked in the mirror, and you just want to arch your eyebrows a bit more? Well today this tutorial will teach you a few tricks on how to do this. A lot of people use cosmetic surgery to do this, but luckily you dont have to spend money or go through a surgery! So here are a few tricks!
1. After you wake up in the morning wash your face and don't put any makeup on, Then using your middle and ring finger place your middle finger where you want your arch to be and put your ring finger beside it. Push up on your eyebrow for about five minutes. You'll notice that it looks a bit extreme. Let your eyes relax for about two minutes and voila you have instant arch!
2. When you wake up take a spooly ( like a mascara brush) and brush up your eyebrows. Make the hairs stick straight up. Fill in where you want your arch and brush the brows back into place this gives the illusion of a more arched brow!!!

I hope this helps and happy arching!

First Impressions: Covergirl Fresh Complextion concealer!

So the other day I bought a covergirl Concealer. I bought it in the color classic ivory. One of lightest colors! Anyways I tried it out and i put it on a blemish I have. This concealer is not a cream concealer. I could tell the minute I opened it. I used the tip and put it on my blemish. Patted it in because your supposed to pat concealer, not rub it. And the first thing I noticed was that it was quite watery. This product provided adequate coverage. I would definitely recommend using foundation with this product as well. It only provides middleish coverage!

First Impression: Loreal Foam Hair color

For the first time yesterday I used loreal foam hair color. At the beginning I was excited to try this product. First I changed into a shirt I never wear anymore and got ready to color my hair. I did the first step and Put bottle one into bottle two. The smell was super ranky. You definitely have to turn on a fan for this product. Anyways aside from the smell I put it in my hair like the instructions say. Although I would definitely recommend doing it in layers though. I put it in and let it sit for thirty minutes. During this time I noticed it itched more than regular hair coloring kits. The smell of it really BURNS your nose. When the time was up I rinsed it out and used the conditioner. I blow dried my hair and didn't even notice a difference in my hair color!

I don't think I would recommend this product because of the smell, itch and the lack of results.

How to whiten your teeth naturally

Everyone wants a white smile :). So here is how to get it. This is natural and you use items most people have in their homes
SUPPLIES:
1. Strawberries (2)
2. Baking soda
3.A bowl
4. A spoon
5. A tiny bit of milk

So the first step is putting the strawberries and baking soda in the bowl. Mix them and make sure its a mush ( like apple sauce) And then ad about two teaspoons of milk. Dip your toothbrush in the mixture and brush your teeth with it. This will last about two days so use sparingly and keep refrigerated. You should see a change in about a week or so.

Softer Hands at home

Brown Sugar and Milk- Mix brown sugar and milk in a bowl until you get a liquidy substance. Then place your finger tips in the bowl, scoop some up and rub it with your hands, into your hands. The coarse grains in the brown sugar will help peel away dead skin and refurbish it. Then once your hands have been scrubbed for five to six minutes wash your hands. Pat dry with a towel and put on a hand cream moisturizer. If you really want this to soak in wear cotton or latex gloves when you sleep. Do it right before bed.

Self Tanners

Many People have asked me about self tanners...Self tanners are not a permanent thing but should not be applied on the night before an important event.
  1. how self tanners work; they work by dyeing the top layer of the skin. They last about three to five days and gradually wear off.
  2. How do you apply self tanners?
    •  It depends on the product. Most self tanners have instructions on the bottle. The main way is squeezing the product into your hand and applying it. Then wash the product off of your hands because they absorb the color more than any other part of your body. Some products come with a clothlike glove. You put the product onto the glove and rub it into your skin. Always exfoliate your skin before using self tanners because of dead skin cells sitting on the top layer of your skin.
  3. Why does self tanner stink? Not all self tanner stinks, sometimes its the product and sometimes it the chemical reaction with your skin.

Since razor burn usually results in scabbing and raised skin, the best way to get rid of it is to allow it to heal before shaving again. There are of course, additional steps you can take to speed up the healing process:

  • Use a mild exfoliant that contains salicylic acid daily. This will slough off old, dead surface skin that otherwise could clog up your pores and limit oxygen to the effected areas. Do not scrub razor-burned skin. (ow!)
  • Use aloe vera or tea tree oil creams and sprays. They will speed up your recovery and soothe that raw feeling that accompanies razor burn.
  • Shave carefully until it heals, switch to a razor with a single-blade or wire guard for a while. The shave won't be close, but you won't be slicing your skin up before it can heal either. (Learn how to get rid of razor bumps)
  • If you continue shaving, combine these steps with the preventative steps in the next section.
Do not:
  • Use any products containing alcohol - it will dry out your skin and increase irritation.
  • Scrub or scratch razor burned skin. It will increase irritation and the risk of infection.
  • Apply colognes or perfumes to razor burned skin.

3. How to prevent razor burn

Proper razor burn prevention involves reducing the likelihood of slicing off anything other than hair. Adopt the following steps for a few weeks and see how they work for you:

1. Prepare your skin and hair for the shave:

  • Bathe and exfoliate first. You can use a loofah, shower puff, or a chemical exfoliant that contains salicylic acid to remove dirt, oil and dead skin so the razor will glide smoothly and evenly.
  • Cover the area to be shaved with conditioner or skin lotion and let it sit for a few minutes prior to shaving - don't rub it into the skin. This will soften the hair and make the shave much easier. Don't let it sit longer than five minutes either as your skin will start to absorb the moisture and puff up, keeping you from getting a close shave. Alternatively, you can soak some wash cloths with the hot, steamy water and apply them to your skin for a few minutes.
  • Shaving brushTrade in your shaving cream or gel for some old-fashioned shaving soap, a mug and a badger brush. These soaps are less expensive, provide superior lubrication, and the use of the brush stands the hair up for a superior shave. Find them at your local supermarket.

2. Shaving technique:

  • Make sure your blade is clean and sharp.
  • Shave in slow, small strokes tapping the razor under hot water to clean it between each stroke. A blade full of hair won't sit evenly against the skin.
  • Loose skin should be held taut - but not stretched.
  • Apply only as much pressure as is needed.
  • Shave with the grain as much as is possible to achieve the closeness you desire.
  • If you must double back over an area, apply more lubricant (soap or cream) first.

Brrrrrrrr!3. Post-shave skin care:

  • Splash cold water or run an ice cube over your freshly shaven skin to close up your pores. Ice works just as well as alcohol and will not dry out your skin.
  • Apply an aloe vera (For other uses of aloe vera, read 12 wondrous benefits of aloe vera) or tea tree oil balm to moisturize, soothe and cool your skin.
If after following the previous steps you still find yourself getting razor burn and ingrown hairs, consider experimenting with alternative hair removal methods. There are creams and powders that dissolve hair as well as waxes and sugar solutions that pluck it. If you're set on shaving, see if your barber or stylist will teach you how to shave with a straight razor.

How to get rid of large pores

Large pores should always be kept clean so that there is no dirt and oil left inside the pores to cause pimples, acnes and black heads. One can use gentle facial scrubbers and icial face packs to tone up the size of the pores. Some home made scrubs and packs are good enough in reducing the appearance of the size of the big and opened skin pores.
  • Tomato has toning agents in it. If tomato juice has been applied on the skin regularly with a cotton ball and left for 20 minutes, helps in reducing the size of the pores. It shrinks the pores and makes them appear visibly smaller. You can add tomato juice to calamine powder or sandalwood powder, which are good to tone up the skin, which helps in even reducing the size of the pores. These packs help skin to reduce the sebum production and it helps in decreasing the size of the pores.
  • Mashed papaya applied on the skin helps in toning the pores. You can directly apply a mashes papaya on your skin or can put it over a gauge. You need to wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • White portion of the egg has skin toning and complexion enhancing ingredients. Whipped egg yolk applied on the skin with a few drops of lemon juice, improves the tone of the skin and reduces the pore size. This pack is extremely good for Middle Ages women.
  • Honey is equally good to tone up the pores and reduce the oiliness from the skin. It can be applied in any of the facemask or can be directly applied on the skin with a little lemon juice and sugar to it. You can massage it on face and leave it for few minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Honey added to milk powder too helps if applied on the skin.
  • A paste made of salt and butter is helpful in reducing pore size if applied on them.
  • Regularly use toner on your skin with a cotton ball. To some extent it helps in temporary reducing the size of the pores.
  • Oatmeal and gram flour are good toning substance. You can add a little lemon juice, rose water and curd to them and apply on the skin. Wash this pack off when it dries. It tones the pores and enhances the complexion.
  • If you have breakouts on your skin then avoid using lemon juice or any such thing on your skin without a doctor's knowledge. Calamine powder and sandalwood powder are safe to be applied on the pimples or acnes.
  • Always remove make up while going to bed. Never sleep with your make up on. Let the skin breath. Heavy make up left on the skin for long hours too increase the size of the pores.
  • If you do wax your face, you have more chances to get open pores so always be careful while doing it. Always make sure that you apply a soothing face pack based on calamine or sandalwood on your face after waxing it to close the pores.
  • You can rub an ice cube on your skin wrapped in a cotton cloth on your face to temporary reduce the size of the pores. Ice shrinks the size of the pores and it's a good way to make the pores appear smaller if you are going somewhere out as it even decreases the oil production on the skin for sometime.
If you regularly concentrate to care about the skin and make efforts to reduce the size of the pores, it's not impossible to get the results. If not permanently, but you can temporarily reduce the size of the pores and can help in increasing further in the size. Applying toner, tightening facemasks and using toning creams too helps in decreasing the problem to some extent. Though one cannot cure this problem permanently, one can at least prevent the pores from becoming bigger. Keep the skin clean, don't use oily make up products and eat healthy food to keep the skin beautiful and young. Natural ingredients are anyways cost effective and very helpful in treating any of the skin problems.

Get rid of cuticles

Do you have awful thick dry peeling cuticles? If you do it is completely normal 6 out of 9 women have them.. Do not perform this procedure if your cuticles or the skin on your hands is injured, raw, or bleeding because it could worsen your condition.
One of the most common ways of treating dry, thick, or peeling cuticles is to try snipping off the dead skin with a cuticle nipper. The problem with this method is that it is difficult and even dangerous to perform on yourself. People often tend to nip off too much skin, which simply results in your skin growing back even thicker and, worse yet, you could easily cut too deeply and injure yourself. Furthermore, as a practical matter, it is virtually impossible to use cuticle nippers on yourself unless you’re ambidextrous because you’ll always be forced to use your left hand to trim the cuticles on your right (or vice versa if you’re a lefty).
But not to worry! We’ve got an easy and safe solution for you. First, start with clean, dry nails. Take a good, oil- and sugar-based body scrub and apply it to your cuticles and nail area. If you’re running a little short on time, you can do this while in the shower, but you’ll get the best results if you do this while your hands are still dry.
Gently massage the body scrub in small circles over the entire cuticle area, paying special attention to the part of your finger where the corner of the nail meets the skin. Spend approximately 30 seconds exfoliating the cuticle of each nail.
Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow up your cuticle scrub by massaging a rich cuticle cream into the cuticle as well as the nail bed on each of your fingers. For really deep moisturizing, slather on some hand cream and slip on a pair of cotton gloves.
Again, the absolute key to this is maintenance. Perform the exfoliating procedure weekly and massage your cuticles and nails with a rich cuticle cream twice a day and we promise you can kiss those dry cuticles goodbye forever!

How to Apply Eyelasshes

How to apply false eyelashes

1. The first step and maybe the most important one when applying false eyelashes is to start with clean eye lids. The adhesive  will not stick to oil so be sure to use an oil-free eye makeup remover. Be sure not to use any oil-based makeup near your eyes.
2. The next step in applying false eyelashes is to choose a color and a length. For a natural look, stick with a color that matches your own shade of lashes. Blondes and light color haired gals can go with a light brown color, but all other gals should use dark brown or black. For a glamorous evening look everyone can go with black. Most false eyelashes will need to be trimmed, as the lashes are too long for most women. Be sure to trim just a little at a time. Then test run them by holding them on your eyelid and seeing how well they fit across your lid. You will probably have to trim the length as well. Be sure to curve them across your lid. Take off one or two lashes at a time to get just the right fit. Be sure they don’t extend past your eyelid as this will be very uncomfortable. Do all your trimming before applying the adhesive. Sharp scissors will do the trick.
3. Third step in applying false eyelashes is to add adhesive to the false eyelashes. Applying them with a dark lash glue. The dark glue helps define the lash line. Putting some on paper and using a toothpick can help. Let the adhesive become tacky, (this only takes about a minute), before applying the false eyelashes to your own eyelash line. Remember to never put the false eyelash adhesive directly on your own eyelid. The adhesive is meant only to be applied to the false eyelash itself. You certainly don’t want glue in your eye, and your certainly don’t want to glue your eye shut either!
4. While looking in the mirror, start applying your false eyelashes at the inside corner, press and hold the false eyelashes as close to your own lash line as possible If you feel your fingers are too big for this step you can use tweezers. Be very careful not to poke yourself in the eye.
5. If you’re using individual lashes or clumps, start at the outside and work toward the inner eye. You will only need a couple of individual lashes or clumps to achieve a natural look.
6. After apply the false eyelashes and letting them dry, take an eyelash curler and gently curl your new false eyelashes along with you own lashes
7. To unify the look of your new lashes apply liquid eyeliner over both. No mascara needed.
8. When you want to remove the false eyelashes, be gentle. Because your eye lids are so sensitive don’t pull your false eyelashes off without the use of eye makeup remover. Let the remover soak in for a couple of minutes. The oil will loosen the strip.
9. To use your false eyelashes again, clean them according to the manufacture’s directions. Be sure to pull off any remaining glue. Let them dry completely before putting them.
Wearing false eyelashes only on special occasions will keep your eyes from developing an infection or an irritation from the adhesive. Remember, practice makes perfect. Learning how to apply false eyelashes and correctly applying them can lift your spirits and make you feel like a celebrity!

Nails Nails Nails

1. To keep your nails hydrated, rub a small amount of petroleum jelly into your cuticle and the skin surrounding your nails every evening before you go to bed or whenever your nails feel dry.
2. Wear rubber gloves whenever you do housework or wash dishes. Most household chores, from gardening to scrubbing the bathroom to washing dishes, are murderous on your nails. To protect your digits from dirt and harsh cleaners, cover them with vinyl gloves whenever it’s chore time. And for extra hand softness, apply hand cream before you put on the rubber gloves.
3. When pushing back your cuticles (it is not necessary to cut them) come in at a 45-degree angle and be very gentle. Otherwise the cuticle will become damaged, weakening the entire nail,
4. Dry your hands for at least two minutes after doing the dishes, taking a bath/shower, etc. Also dry your toes thoroughly after swimming or showering.
5. Add a glass of milk and a hard-boiled egg to your daily diet. Rich in zinc, they’ll do wonders for your nails, especially if your nails are spotted with white, a sign of low zinc intake.

Natural Ways to make Hair Soft and Shiny

1.Comb Olive oil through your hair and towel dry it. Put your towel on your pillow and sleep overnight with it. Shampoo it out in the morning and your hair will be soft and shiny
2.Put mayonaise all over your hair, leave it on for twent minutes and then rinse it out, it leaves your hair soft  and shiny.
3. Dip your hair in a bowl of alcohol (beer) and leavi it on until it dries. When it does rinse it out and your hair will be frizzless and soft.
4.Try not to wear hair elastics as much. Have you ever noticed when you leave your hair up for a long time and use elastics with metal or the skinny plastic ones a ring of hair comes out with it.
5.DO NOT OVERBRUSH IT. You should brush your hair three times maximum a day. If you do more than this it breaks your hair and leaves it all frizzy. It looks bad and it wrecks your hair its not worth it.
6. dont shampoo and wash your hair everyday. It strips your hair of natural oils

Horseradish juice or horseradish vinegar, or oatmeal dabbed on the skin is also helpful in lightening freckles.

To lighten freckles, mash 1/4 cup of unripe currants and mix with 1 tbsp. of unpasteurized honey. Put on freckles and leave on for half an hour. Rinse off with warm water and dab on diluted fresh lemon juice.

Make Acne go FAST!

Acne is a skin condition that occurs due to the overproduction of oil by the oil glands of the skin. The oil that normally lubricates the skin gets trapped in blocked oil ducts and results in what we know as pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads on the surface of skin!

1.The first thing you need to worry about is the dirt. You have bacteria dirt and germs on your hands, try not to touch your face during the day.
2.DIRTY PILLOWCASES! No one really  thinks about this but when you go to sleep your face is on a pillow, think of whats touching your face...from that pillow. Wash your pillow cases and sheets regularily.
3. Cleansers: Cleansers are a good idea, if you  get the right one for your skin, have someone do an assesment of your skin to help decide what type on cleanser you should use, cleansers can dry out your skin too, even if your acne prone you should moisturize your skin!
4. Sometimes even just caring for your skin isnt enough! So here are some things you can use alternativley. Pore strips: sticky strips you put on your nose or any where you have blackheads. you leave them on for a certain time and then slowly pull them off, the blackheads come with it.

So I hope some of these tips really help!

Early morning tiredness?

So I woke up this morning (really late) because I've been tired lately it starts building up. If this is happening to you you should start maintaining a sleep cycle. Go to bed a certain time, and wake up a certain time everyday. This is called your sleep cycle and if you do this it will make you feel like you slept more and you'll feel less tired because it is a continuous thing every night and day.

After this you should apply a face mask or nourishing cream, let these soak up for 5-10 min. Then rinse your face with cool water in order to close your pores and lock in all the goodies you just gave your skin. At night you should wash all of your makeup off, if you have stubborn mascara then apply some makeup remover to a q-tip and use that. After you have washed off the makeup soak your face in hot/warm water again. Then apply a toner (you can use lemon juice if you don't have any). This will get rid of the dead skin cells and leave your face rejuvinated in the morning. Then apply your moisturizer. Close your pores again and wake up feeling great! Your skin will thank you!

P.S-You should exfoliate your skin once a week to achieve a deep cleaning! You can do this with sugar and lemon juice!!

How to get a flawless face (Foundation, Concealer and Powder)

The first step is to clean your face, never apply your face makeup to a dirty face because this will leave you with breakouts and blemishes. The next thing you need to do is moisturize, remember to always moisturize your skin, if you have oily skin use a water-based moisturizer, your face should feel soft and this will help the makeup apply better, next is your foundation. Foundation is key to have a flawless face.  You have to apply it the right way or it will elave streaks, uneveness and even not cover. when applying you should start in the center of your face and work your way outwards. If your using your fingers apply and then dab over with a sponge, if using a brush go in a criscross pattern. After you finish your foundation you should always conceal under your eyes (9 out of 10 people have dark circles). After you complete this step, one of the most important is to apply a powder to your face because this sets your makeup and you wouldnt want all that  hard work to go to waste! Good luck and have fun, be beautiful!!!

What are Natural ways to Take care of your nails?

In my experience I've done a lot of nails. I like doing them its a creative outlet and I encourage you to take it up, back to the point, ere are items and products you have laying about your house that help your nails stay healthy. The first thing I want to talk about is LEMONS! Lemons are great for your nails, they hydrate! All you have to do is lay lemon slices over your nails or put your nails in lemon juice, this hardens, moisturizes and soften cuticles all at the same time! Another thing that some people might have lying around is denture cleaners, The free edge of your nails can get noticeably yellow if you don't clean them everyday and if you wear a bit of polish. Take a bowl of warm water and put the denture cleaner in it, put your hands in the water for a while and this makes the free edge of your nails VERY white. One more thing is milk, If you soak your hands in milk everyday It softens your cuticles and hands!
I'll be doing a tutorial on nail care on my youtube channel very soon.

Nails???

Everyone these days seems to do their nails, they want to be stylish and pretty. So here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Your nails are not invincable. Your nails can only withstand so much chemical. Nail polish remover slowly removes nail enamel, leaving them weak and flimsy.
2. Nailpolish is easy to ruin. I would reccomend the three step system. Which is: Do one stroke down the middle of the nail then do oone on either side. giving you a perfect finsih
3. If your going to do a second coat remember to let it dry compoletley or it will smudge the first coat!!!
4. Always do a base and topcoatt, the base will prevent the nailpolish from staining your nails and the topcoat will prevent it from chipping!

Morning Eyes???

Do you have sleepy, tired looking morning eyes? If so then here are a few things that can brighten you up!
1. Always wash your face with warm water and soap and then rinse with cool!
2. Put cucumbers over your eyes.
3. use white eyeliner on the bottom lashline.
4. Always put conceler underneath!

A complete Brow guide...

I decided i notice alot of people have had..."misshappening" with their eyebrows, and thats because they don't know how to properly maintain and groom them. First off, im not an expert nor do i claim myself to be but id like to share some of my information with you.
1. Your eye brows are what frame your face, you should stick to the natural shape with them, just enhance it a bit.
2. Over plucking sucks!!! Do NOT over pluck, i know sometimes we all get carried away but try not to because it's a huge hassle to get them back to normal.
3. Your eyebrows should look natural not too thin, filling in your eyebrows might be a daily routine for some of you, because your eyebrows grow in sparesly naturally, but those of you who are lucky enough to have nice eyebrows, dont spend lots of time filling in and making "perfect". Because they probably look just fine.
4. to trim the hairs and make them shorter...brush the hairs up and cut a tiny bit off with scissors, giving it a more natural, groomed look.
5. when plucking draw a line around the brow in the shape you want, then do not pluck inside the line. This will hopefully stop you from over plucking!!!
6. if you have over plucked fill your brows in lightly until they grow back.
7. take care of stray hairs, if you use highlights under the brow bone your hairs will be very noticable.

Good luck with your brows ladies!!!(and gents) I hope this is a simple guide that you will use!

Tips!!!

Face: If your makeup looks too caked on simply take a spray bottle with water in it and give yourself a quick spray. Then with a sponge, dab your face and say hello beautiful and goodbye caky.

Tip 1. A great way to remove makeup is taking a normal cotton pad and dipping it in baby oil or a moisturizer, this will remove the makeup from your face!
Tip2. Before applying lipgloss apply some coverup and lipstick and the lipgloss will adhere much nicer!
Tip3. Apply petroleum jelly to your lips to get rid of dead skin and moisturize!
Tip4. Use bags of green tea on your eyes to reduce puffyness.
Tip5. Use potato slices on your eyes to get rid of some discoloration of dark circles!
Tip6. Scrub your feet with a mixture of baby oil water and epson sea salts for a smooth soft feeling foot!
Tip7. If your tight on money you can  replace face powder with cornstarch!!! remeber not to use to much because it will give you a ghostly appearance!!!

Why is water important??

Water is like air, we need it. Our skin needs water just as much as our bodies need food. The average person should be drinking about eight large glasses of water a day! That doesn't seem like much but its what keeps our bodies in good shape!!! It keeps our skin moist and washes all the toxins out of ones' body. Water replenishes our lost nutrient count in workouts and keeps us hydrated on a hot day. What would we do without it? Die. It's as simple as that. Nothing can substitute for it, REMEMBER to drink up!

Save your skin

It's nessacary for us to keep our skin hydrated and healthy to feel completley confident about ourselves...am I right? So shouldnt we all be striving for better skin? I think in order for a woman to be completley confident in herself she needs to feel good and have a high self-esteem level. But why do some women feel the need to be perfect, it's all just an illusion, no one will ever be "THE GIRL". People come close, but they are usually very unhappy, because the harder you strive for perfect, when you realize you can't get there, its like a lethal blow!!!
